Razer, the maker of high-end gaming hardware and peripherals, have unveiled two new gaming laptops: the 14-inch Razer Blade and the 17-inch Razer Blade Pro.

These laptops were designed from the ground up to offer the best gaming performance in their class. The 14-inch Razer Blade is powered by a 4th gen Intel Core i7 Processor and also features a next-gen NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M graphics card for crystal clear visuals. It measures at 0.66 inches thin and weighs only 4.1 lbs, making it the thinnest and lightest gaming laptop on the market (a comparable MacBook Air is 0.68 inches thick). The Blade also has 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD (upgradable to 256GB or 512GB).

As for the 17-inch Razer Blade Pro, it measures in at 0.88 inches thin and weighs only 6.5 pounds making it the most portable laptop in its class. "With the Razer Blade Pro, we've designed a gaming laptop for work and for play-appealing to on-the-go hardcore gamers, game developers, creative artists and aspiring video professionals," said Razer co-founder, CEO, and creative director Min-Liang Tan.

He went on to discuss the laptop's gaming capabilities, saying, "The Razer Blade Pro can flawlessly run the most popular creative software applications, and is powerful enough to run the most graphically intensive games on the market today."

The Blade Pro also features the innovative Switchblade UI, 10 dynamic keys to the right of the keyboard that allow for a "more efficient and intuitive experience" whether you're playing games or working with professional grade software like Photoshop or Maya.

Both the Razer Blade and Razer Blade Pro are available for pre-order now at the Razer store. The laptops will be available on June 3. You can pick up a Blade starting at $1,799, while the Blade Pro will start at $2,199. Check out the video below to get up close and personal with both of the new laptops.
