These are the first details of Dragon Nest's huge new update.
Dragon Nest has been kicking around for a couple of years now, and now the South Korean MMO is taking its next steps forward. A huge update has been planned, and its developer, Eyedentity Games, recently held a meet-and-greet event with DN players to reveal what's coming next.
A fan from MMOSite translated the key points of the information gathered on Korean site thisisgame.com. The new update, grandly titled "Dragon Nest 2.0," is introducing a slew of new features to justify the new version number.
Dragon Nest takes players on a magical journery to save the Goddess Altea from her evil sister. You'll traverse the land of Lagendia, gaining strength and abilities, while fighting the dragons who guard the power stones you need to save Altea.[/i]
2.0 also sees in the introduction of Dragon Jade, an item that can improve a class' stats or skills.
A new class is getting introduced, too, hot on the heels of the recently revealed dancing Kali class. We'll get to step into the slippery soles of a male assassin, who's skillset is described as that of a "fighter." No pictures yet, unfortunately.
Due to all the new changes, a few older features are being put on hold for the time being. No new content "similar" to the Alteria Continent Exploration is planned beyond level 70, and we won't be learning any more about the Kali, either. Still, with the new level cap to strive for and new dungeons to suit, we should be kept busy enough.
