Gameplay: 9.1/10
As I have said before, the game has gone back to the experience and level system from before. Many gamers were unaccustomed to the sphere grid system and will welcome the conversion back to the old system. This game is fun. No doubt about it. The people at Square Enix have added even more feature, which includes running, jumping, climbing, unlike Final Fantasy X. This game is mission based, and there are 5 different mission levels, 1-5, 1 being easiest and 5 being hardest. What makes the mission system interesting is that you choose the missions you want to do. In this game, you can only play 3 characters (specifically women, hot women, in nice clothing, you get what I mean when you play it), the main character being Yuna. Also, Square Enix has also added a new thing called Dress Spheres. As you progress through the game and beat more missions, you will acquire Dress Spheres, which you can place in different Garment Grids, which vary in style and slots for the spheres. The Dress Spheres will determine something of a job class sorts, like Warrior, Thief, Black Mage, etc. The Dress Spheres add variety and adds to the replay value of the game, which I will talk about later. It is an excellent Gameplay, no doubt about that.
Graphics: 10/10
As the graphics have been in FFX, the graphics are stunning. The Cinematic graphics are just so beautiful and smooth; it'll knock you right out of your seat. The character models have improved, leaving hot women in skimpy dresses. The women are still hot, but their clothing is a bit more, should I say, mature. They're more revealing now, which is a good thing for us, guys! Well I am telling you now; this is far the best RPG graphic game out there on PlayStation 2, nothing can beat this extraordinary game.
Sounds: 9.5/10
Hmm, now this is something. Has the Final Fantasy series ever failed to satisfy our musical needs? The answer is no. As always, the music is spectacular, just lovely. Need I say more? Go listen to the music for yourself. You will be satisfied, especially now in Final Fantasy X2 has added two very good theme songs, 'Real Emotion' and '1000 Words.'
Replay Value: 10/10
This game has VERY good replay value. It is VERY good. Once you've beaten the game, you still have a bunch of other things you haven't even done yet! You can acquire all the rest of the dress spheres, play as different jobs, and beat the game to 100%. Just beating the game will take a while, but going back and getting 100%? That means finishing everything at the correct time; that includes all the events in the right chapter, at the right time. So for the not-so-skilled players, this means that it would take a very very long time to complete this game and replay it to satisfaction. Say, over 100 hours? Wow, that's a long time.
Overall: 9.5/10
FFX2: Very good game. Interesting story, great graphics, great sound, and great replay value. Get it. Play it. Beat it. Replay it. Beat it again. To your satisfaction, I guaranteed it.
