Pick herbs from the comfort of the cockpit.
There are all sorts of mounts in World of Warcraft. Some are big, some are small, some can fly, and now, the new Sky Golem new mount that is being introduced in patch 5.4 allows its rider to pick herbs while mounted.
The Sky Golem is a flying mount that's made by Engineers. The good news is that it's Bind on Equip, so players will be able to trade it and buy and sell it on the Auction House.
In addition to the new mount, Patch 5.4 will introduce the Siege of Orgrimmar Raid, where players will see the end of Garrosh Hellscream's reign as the Horde Warchief.
Enter the world of Azeroth and battle against the Alliance of humans, dwarves and night elves or the brutish orcs, trolls and undead of the Horde. World of Warcraft has a very large community of players with hundreds of servers and a myriad of endgame pursuits from raiding dungeons, questing, achievement hunting, PVP arenas, and now pet battles.
The update will also bring some big changes to World of Warcraft's Arenas. Players will now get their own personal rating, and the game will use that to determine equally-skilled opponents for you and your teammates to face off against. With the update, you'll now be able to play with whoever you want, whenever you want without having to join, leave, or invite players to an Arena Team. That's right, cross-realm groups and queues for Arena is finally here. In addition, Arena will now be region wide, rather than sorted according to Battlegroup.
One of the most exciting things coming from patch 5.4 is the fact that Gamon will finally have his moment in the spotlight. For the first time in nine years, the Tauren punching bag in Orgrimmar will be part of some sort of achievement.
World of Warcraft's Patch 5.4 is on the Public Test Realm now, meaning it will be deployed on live servers soon. As more details begin to leak from the PTR, we'll be sure to update you.
