Dig in to a new World of Warcraft book.
There's so much lore and story going on within World of Warcraft that sometimes there isn't enough room to cram it all in the game. That's where the fantastic WoW novels come in. The latest, which is available now, is Vol'jin: Shadows of the Horde. The book center around Vol'jin, the leader of the Darkspear Trolls, and his experiences with members of both the Horde and Alliance.
Vol'jin himself is a strong and cunning leader who will play an important part in WoW's upcoming 5.4 patch. Previously, the Warchief of the Horde, Garrosh Hellscream, kicked Vol'jin out of the Horde capital of Orgrimmar and in 5.4 he'll join with both the Horde and Alliance to take it back.
Vol'jin: Shadows of the Horde tells the story of Vol'jin's recovery after Garrosh's forces attacked and kicked him out of Orgrimmar. It explains how brewmaster Chen Stormstout brought him to a monstery in Pandaria to regain his strength, and his hard decision to either work with the Zandalari tribe who wants to invade Pandaria, or help lead his people against Garrosh.
The novel was written by Michael Stackpole and is available in both hardcover and eBook editions, with an audio book on the way. Head over to the official World of Warcraft site to read an excerpt.
