Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited (DDO for short) is an officially licensed, free-to-play MMO set in the most famous fantasy role-playing universe of all time. In the vast and dangerous online world of Eberron, gamers slay monsters, discover hidden treasure and evade traps left behind by an ancient race. An intense, "realistic" combat system immerses players in visceral battles against a vast array of fantasy foes and other players as a sword-swinger, a spellcaster or something in between. Playable races range from humans, elves and dwarves to the more exotic drow, half-orc and warforged, and while everything is free-to-play, convenience and customization options are available for purchase along with optional subscription plans for fans who want unlimited access to all content.

Test your might in DDO's new dungeon.

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Shadowfell Conspiracy is the upcoming second expansion for Turbine's free-to-play fantasy MMO. The game is scheduled for an August 19 release and will bring a higher level cap, new heroes, new monsters, and even some new dungeons. In the most recent batch of screenshots, we get a chance to check out one of DDO: Shadowfell Conspiracy's new dungeons, A Lesson in Deception.

A Lesson in Deception is a dungeon centered around the criminal activity in the new city of Wheloon. According to Turbine, someone is trying to unite all of the crooks of Wheloon in order to achieve unrivaled power.

In the dungeon itself, players will have to travel through the twisting back alleys of the prison city, pose as a new recruit, and find out who is the mastermind behind this evil gang.

From the screenshots, it seems as though the instance will be both indoors and outdoors and will feature a variety of monsters. Not only will you be fighting humanoids, but there are some scaly lizard beasts and flying monsters you'll have to look out for as well.

If you think you're up to the challenge, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Shadowfell Conspiracy is available for pre-order now. Visit the official DDO Site for more details about all of the various Shadowfell Conspiracy pre-order incentive deals.
