Dress up as Superman and win a trip to PAX!
San Diego Comic Con is a wonderful event held once a year where nerds and geeks of all types gather in San Diego, California to enjoy everything the entertainment industry has to offer in terms of sci-fi and fantasy movies, TV shows, games, and culture. This year, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Nerdist are teaming up to offer a very fitting competition at the show: The Infinite Crisis DC Multiverse Cosplay Contest.
Infinite Crisis is the free-to-play MOBA from Warner Bros. and Turbine set in the DC Multiverse. The game features iconic characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Joker, and more. Since cosplaying as these famous DC characters is pretty commonplace at SDCC, this contest seems like a perfect fit.
Cosplaying at San Diego Comic-Con in general is definitely a huge part of the event. Folks dress up as their favorite characters and pose for fun pictures usually just for personal enjoyment. But with the Infinite Crisis DC Multiverse Cosplay Contest, one fan will be able to win a trip to PAX Prime 2013.
The contest will officially begin on July 18 and entries will be accepted through August 7 via the Infinite Crisis website. Once all the entries are in, a panel of judges will select and announce the winner on August 30.
During Comic-Con, Jeffrey Steefel, Executive Producer at Turbine and Chloe Dykstra, host of Just Cos on the Nerdist Channel, will show off Infinite Crisis and reveal some of their favorite IC cosplayers at the convention.
If you're heading to Comic Con, make sure to catch the cosplayers at the show. If you want to sign up for yourself, head over to the official Infinite Crisis website after July 18 to sign up.
