Legends of Mount Hua breathes new life into Age of Wushu.
Legends of Mount Hua is the upcoming first expansion for Snail Games' free-to-play kung-fu MMO, Age of Wushu. The expansion is scheduled for an August 8 release and will bring additional PvP content to the game, as well as a new dungeon, a leveling system where older players can help out ones just starting out, and a few new Jianghu Status Systems where players can measure their relations with NPCs to earn awards. In anticipation of the release, Snail Games has unveiled a new Legends of Mount Hua trailer and revealed some more details about two of the new Jianghu systems coming in the expansion.
The Jianghu Gratitude and Revenge System and the Jianghu Hero and Treasure System are two new features coming in Age of Wushu: Legends of Mount Hua. The Gratitude and Revenge System will encourage players to interact with specific NPCs around the world in order to increase their reputation with those folks. If players manage to earn enough reputation, they'll be able to persuade the NPCs to fight alongside them. More malicious players can even ask hire their new NPC friend to kill other players.
The Jianghu Hero and Treasure System on the other hand is a test of skill. By defeating these experts, players will earn Treasures, a new type of equipment in Age of Wushu with excellent stat bonuses. Treasures come in different ranks and offer a variety of benefits.
In addition to the new Jianghu systems, Age of Wushu: Legends of Mount Hua will also introduce a new instance, Yanmen Pass. Yanmen Pass will take players all over China in five different storylines, each with different types of gameplay. So far, the Wulin Line, Village Line, and Defender Line have been revealed.
