Succeed at downing the server and you'll gain some rubies.
Right - so it's not often a developer challenges you to break their game. That's exactly what Blue Byte and Ubisoft are doing with Anno Online tonight, though, by inviting players to stress-test their server to the point of breaking it completely.
According to a post on Anno Online's blog, the next stress test will take place today, July 23 between 6pm and 7pm GMT+2 (for a conversion to your own timezone, try this handy timezone calculator). Your job? Get online, doss around, and hope that enough other players are online with you to reduce the server to a painful crawl. If you help to successfully down the server, you can win up to 350 rubies.
It's an odd challenge, and definitely one that can't be refused; I feel like I'm being invited to bounce on Ubisoft's ornate antique bed. Good luck with the server destroying, fellow gamers!
