RaiderZ Europe has been shut down by publisher Gameforge.
Monster-hunting MMORPG RaiderZ has been shuttered in Europe, publisher Gameforge just announced. The game, developed by South Korean publisher MAIET Entertainment, is published in the US by Perfect World Entertainment. Its European publisher was Gameforge, meaning this shutdown will not affect NA or South Korean servers.
In an FAQ published by Gameforge, the company explained that RaiderZ Europe "did not meet our expectations."
RaiderZ is a free-to-play MMO from South Korean developer MAIET. The game has a non-targeting combat system, no set classes, and a deep crafting system.
Gameforge continued by stating, "we saw no other potential alternatives to the discontinuation of the services, unfortunately we were left with no other alternative than to take this step."
As of now, there is no way for European players to continue playing RaiderZ, however, there is a chance that Perfect World will pick up publishing responsibilities across the pond. If anyone wants a little bit more grinding, the servers will be turned off on July 30 at midnight.
