Just so you guys have a heads up on some of the coming changes in about 2 weeks:

Vehicles :

X-34 Landspeeder
1200 Ferrous metal ( steel / Iron )
450 Non-ferrous ( copper / Alum )

Speeder Bike / Speeder Swoop Bike
1000 Ferrous metal
250 Non-ferrous

Shock resistance is the stat it looks for. Currently it only requires Eng. IV to make these. When these hit live, Thunderheart says it will be moved to Master Artisan, and they may be a bit more complex to make, more resources and parts. Piece of advice. Once these things hit live, even if they cost 10-25k, its well worth the cost. Any travel less then 3k is a cake walk and shouldn't take more then 1-2 mins.

CH changes :

This is the one that hurt the most. Every non-ch out there with rock beetles and cowardly gurreks, loose them. Pet CL that a non-ch can have has been lowered to CL 10. And to make it harder to dabble, ever skill box now has +2,+3,+5, ect. to taming, pet levels, ect... You know, all the bonus's we used to get from tree 1 and 2 have been divided up throughout the CH skill tree. No more dabbling for a good pet.

Creature Upgrades :

If any of you have gotten to the point of being able to take a Krayt with either just yourself and a pet, or a 1-3 member group, get out there and rack up the loot now. After this patch hits live, its gonna take a huge army to do it. I will state what has not changed :

1 hit kills if you dont have the ham to support massive damage, or armor to reduce it;
massive wounds, regardless of ham and armor;
foul breath ( roar );
tail sweep ( mace tail );

The Krayt Changes :
Juveniles - you can still take out a juvy with a small group of 2-4. He has medium armor, high resistence to everything and will weigh in at about 45-55k Ham. Blazing fast speed.

Canyons - Same as above. Medium/Heavy armor, but remember which. Hams for these start at 300k. I have seen them average about 320.

Giants - Same as above. Heavy armor. Hams start at 350k. They average at 410, reports of Giants at 450k not uncommon.
Ancient - No sightings yet. Speculation based on beforementioned juvy/canyon/giants would put them at 90% res., heavy armor and Hams in the area of 500-750k.

This is not a joke and the sad part, they give the same loot.

AT ST changes. Armor is being dropped by one lvl, being given 50k ham and can only be used in factional missions or GCW events. No more creature hunting parties with these. No using them to hunt the new and improved Krayts.

Many of the high end creatures that were being farmed for resources have been upgraded. Kimos on Lok, Kryats as mentioned and many of the npc's.

There was a new ham system being put in. The idea was that damage caused by special weapon skills would no longer cause you damage, but instead reduced your overall hams for a short period, but regenerated at 3x the normal rates. I got to test this myself and loved it. But people not even having tested it and moaned not knowing anything about this and they put it off. They will regret this one.

Combat Mitigation :

This has got to be the best change yet. As you progress through the elite professions, like pisoleer, carbineer, commando, ect... You get a skill called mitigation. I will use commando for example. At Field Tactics I, you get melee mitigation +1. This bonus reduces melee damage to you by 20%. When you obtain Field Tactics 3, you get melee mitigation +2, 40% or 60% reduction. Master Commando gets melee +3, 60% or 80% reduction. Ranged elite skills get ranged mitigation, meaning same protection bonus, but against ranged damage. Now the only thing on this that might change, is the %. I believe its 20/40/60, it doesn't tell you this, someone posted it, could have been 20/40/80 too. In either case, its awesome.

Alot of people will be moaning that adding new content is not addressing some of the current problems. But if they would look at the broader picture, alot of the new content will be making it easier to fix some of the broken/gimped professions. The new ham damage system would have helped professions like Carbineer that have high ham costs for using specials, but as i said, people moaned about this before giving it a chance.
