Crytek rolls out newest Warface closed beta phase - to begin August 21.
First person shooter Warface plans to begin a new phase of closed beta testing next week, developer Crytek has announced. The browser-based free-to-play title began intermittent closed beta testing back in January. Originally developed for Chinese markets, the title has been picked up by a number of publishers worldwide, and is currently published by Trion Worlds in the US and Europe.
This new closed beta phase is set to begin next Wednesday, August 21 in the US, Europe, Turkey, and Australia. Unlike most shooters, Warface boasts a constantly changing game with new challenges updated daily. Registration for the closed beta is still open and can be found here. The game is currently being showed off at the gamescom expo in Cologne, Germany, so fans can also expect some news from the show to go alongside the new closed beta.
