Wargaming has announced a new Unified Premium Account that will combine its various properties into a single service.
Wargaming, the developer and publisher behind popular multiplayer titles including World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and the upcoming World of Warships, has announced its plans to implement a Unified Premium Account service that will connect all of the company's current and future titles under a single community and ecosystem.
Experience intense tank-on-tank combat in a unique battlefield MMO based on real tanks from the mid-twentieth century. The combination of top-notch graphics, a complex physics system, and stunning sound effects all help to provide endless excitement as you control a tank in battles with up to 30 vehicles at a time.
Besides simplifying matters for players who plan to partake in more than one of Wargaming's online titles, the Unified Premium Account will also reward players with increased experience collection and credit accrual rates. "The Unified Account is the next step in our goal to fully connect all of our gaming titles into one living, breathing ecosystem," said Andrei Yarantsau, Wargaming's VP of Global Operations. "Giving our players the benefits and convenience of having premium features carry over through all of our games is something that we feel will be a tremendous value to them and truly enhance their gaming experience no matter what title of ours they play."
The Unified Premium Account will launch during World of Warplane's open beta. Players participating in the beta will receive free tokens they can use to purchase an account. These tokens will also serve as in-game currency throughout the course of the open beta. World of Warships will also integrate the Unified Premium Account when it enters its open beta stage. Purchasing a Unified account in World of Tanks will result in automatic connection to the rest of Wargaming's library.
