The new Lord of the Rings Online Quad Pack combines four DLC expansions into a single product priced at $39.99.
Despite being free-to-play, The Lord of the Rings Online nonetheless boasts a lot of paid expansion content that, unfortunately, can cost you a pretty penny when you tally it all up. That in mind, the game's developers at Turbine have recently released a new "Quad Pack" that combines four of the MMORPG's larger expansions into a single package that players can buy at a discount.
Begin your own epic adventure as the Race of Man, Elf, Dwarf, or Hobbit. Based on the books written by J. R. R. Tolkien and not the movies, LOTRO is a closest thing you can get to strolling through Middle-Earth with a solid walking stick in your hand as the road goes ever on and on.
The Quad Pack includes the Rise of Isengard, Siege of Mirkwood, Mines of Moria and Riders of Rohan expansion content. Whereas purchasing all four on their own would cost about $70, the Quad Pack throws them altogether for a cool $39.99. That's almost 50 percent off the total price and, in total, nets you well over a thousand new quests in addition to a ton of extra content including raids, game instances and mounted combat.
Much of the content is especially handy if you're planning on LOTRO for an extended period of time as a lot of it's geared toward higher level play. This is especially true now that the upcoming Helm's Deep expansion will be bumping the game's level cap up another ten levels to a peak of 95. All in all, the Quad Pack is a really decent deal and a welcome option for players look to expand on their Lord of the Rings Online experience.
