You're going to be blown away by how cool these League of Legends skins are. Okay, I'm sorry.
Following up on their word from several months ago, Riot Games has been releasing tons of new skin, most of which are Legendary or the new "Half Legendary" tier. Recently, Riot released a brand new Legendary Skin for Janna, called Forecast Janna. They've also announced a Visual Upgrade and model rework for Garen, and released a Half Legendary skin for Viktor on the PBE.
The Forecast Janna skin was first teased less than a month ago on the Riot website. She features a brand new character model, voice over, spell effects, and even a new skin for her cloud companion. Forecast Janna is currently available for 1820RP.
Riot also recently announced an upcoming Visual Upgrade for one of League of Legends oldest champions, Garen. Although the choice of Garen took much of the community by surprise, the champion has been completely reworked, including new animations, ability icons, and particles. Although the Visual Upgrade is currently only on the PBE (Public Beta Environment), it will likely be up in the next week or two.
Also on the PBE is a brand new skin for Viktor. Named Creator Viktor, the skin features a dark rework of the mechanical champion, and nearly all of the Battlecast skins are in his splash artwork. Notably, there is a new Battlecast skin in the background of this Viktor's splash, though the smoke makes it difficult to see which champion it is. My guess is that it's Skarner, but we'll need to sit tight and wait for the next reveal to know for sure. Priced at 1350RP, the Viktor skin will include a full visual rework including new animations for each of his abilities.
With two legendary skins in less than as many months, it would appear that Riot has no intention of slowing down their skin production. This makes sense, considering that these skins are Riot's primary form of income, and they need to be constantly one-upping their older skins if they want to entice players to get new ones. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like this has been a problem for the MOBA monolith, and the players get to reap all the sweet, sweet $20 benefits.
