Reloaded Productions is prepping new weapon content to celebrate Fallen Earth's fourth anniversary.
In preparation for Fallen Earth's fourth anniversary, the game's developers at Reloaded Productions have announced new weapon content to help celebrate the occasion. The new weapons will be AP augmented, allowing players to add new buffs, stats and skills to further improve on their combat power.
It's 2156, and the world has been destroyed by both nuclear and bio-chemical means. Your story takes place in one of the few habitable places left in the world, the Grand Canyon. As a clone with an uncertain past, your job is survival in a world now built on destruction, betrayal and fragile factional alliances.
Explore, harvest and stake your claim to over 1,000 square kilometers of harsh and mysterious terrain. The classless advancement and non-linear gameplay allows you to play the character you want. Join random dynamic events to capture resources and invade towns, capture and hold a Progress Town, fight through instances, take part in the rich faction backstory, or make a living by selling what you scavenge and craft on the auction house. Fallen Earth gives you the freedom to do exactly as you want. The world may be a shadow of its former self, but there's no limit to what's possible for you to accomplish.
While there will be limits to how much players can spend in each stat, skill and damage area, these should nonetheless prove a boon to players. The developers will be putting out a call for testers to provide feedback on the balance of the AP augmented weapons and is urging fans to "keep a close eye on the forums and Facebook for instructions" on how to join in on the testing phase.
The addition of the AP weaponry isn't the only thing that Reloaded has planned for Fallen Earth. The studio will also examine and modify the game's existing arsenal to deal with some longstanding complaints from its community. "Rifles have been long regarded as underpowered, with Assault and Battle rifles not filling any particular role in combat," said Reloaded's Marie Croall. "We've been testing a few different potential solutions with an overall goal of making the rifles more useable in combat without seriously detracting from pistols."
The developer also announced new clothing options to help diversify the game's existing wardrobe. Players will soon be able to take advantage of the Camo Hoodie, the Wing Hoodie, the Gearhead Hoodie and the Gear Pants. The developer will also be releasing new Phoenix Plate armor and revamping the game's Lifenet suit. Fans will also be privy to a "special surprise" tailored toward "fans of the Breaking Bad series." This mysterious content should be available before the TV show concludes.
