FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that invites you to explore the realm of Eorzea with friends from around the world.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn lets you party up and adventure with a multitude of players from across the globe. Forge friendships, mount chocobos, and board airships as you and your companions create your own unique stories in Eorzea. All the classic elements from the series that you have come to know and love are waiting!

Set out alone or enlist the aid of friends as you undertake epic quests, battle familiar FINAL FANTASY monsters, and acquire unique abilities and equipment. Embark on the adventure of a lifetime to help reforge the fate of Eorzea!

According to the company the app "puts a veritable compendium of adventuring knowledge in the palm of your hand" and features "a comprehensive game database that can be accessed offline, as well as a character profile viewer for reviewing gear and attributes on the go."

Libra Eorzea will allow players to look through the profiles of other characters in their free company, friends list or link shell and also features a search engine that makes it possible to look up other players and companies. According to the app's description "you can even learn where your fellow adventurers acquired their gear," though these player-related features require an active account with the game.

Unfortunately for gamers still using older Apple hardware, the Libra Eorzea app will require more recent iterations of the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. iPhone users will need the model four or better, while the fifth generation iPod Touch will be required to run the app. The iPad 2 or iPad Mini will be the base minimum for gamers planning to use the app on their tablets. An Android version is also currently in the works.
