Can't attend the show in California in person? No problem. Watch the event in HD!
Blizzard is gearing up for BlizzCon 2013 on November 8-9, and although all of the tickets are sold out, you can still see the show from the comforts of home as the company has finally put their Virtual Ticket on sale.
Want to know what you'll get? Let Blizzard tell you: "You'll get access to both days of the show via two exclusive channels, including the developer panels, exclusive interviews, community contests, and the closing ceremony, along with on-demand replays and DVR functionality." The HD stream will be English only, so you'll need a translator if you want it in some other language.
Even better news is that people who buy a virtual ticket at $39.99 will get access to the special in-game goodies that Blizzard usually passes out at the convention to attendees. Although they have yet to announce what will be given away, there will be items for World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, and the new Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Virtual attendees will also get access to limited-time sale for BlizzCon merchandise on the Blizzard store a few weeks before the show.
Even if you choose not to attend or get a virtual ticket, you will be able to catch the finals of the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series and the World of WarCraft Arena Global Invitational for free during the weekend.
If you got $40 to drop on the ticket, it's not a bad investment, given everything that will be available. Having attended several BlizzCons, it is an event you won't want to miss if you are a fan of everything the company does.
