Star Wars The Old Republic PvP Arenas

The Dread War is coming soon with new Warzones.

New PvP Warzone Arenas are coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic in the Dread War 2.4 Update in the near future and BioWare is trying to build a bit of anticipation with a new video showing off the best of PvP.

While the new video shows only the existing Warzones and none of the new Arenas, the video does offer a look at how fast and furious the action can get. You just can't get enough force powers and lightsaber action into a video.

The development team has been streaming a lot of Warzone Arena action of late, spotlighting guilds that submitted videos showing off their prowess to BioWare. Participants will be getting a "Warzone Correspondent" title sometime next week.

In case you have been living in a cave and haven;t heard about the new arenas, three different arenas are currently planned, with one each on Corellia, Tatooine, and an Orbital Station. Players can queue as solo or group for ranked matches. In solo matches, players will be put in teams of similar composition. In group matches, teams can have whatever makeup they want.

Now, we just need a release date for the update. Watch the PvP video to build some anticipation.
