A teaser trailer has revealed an October 1st release date for Twilight Assault, a new content update for Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2 fans looking forward to the game's next update have been granted a date to set their hopes to. According to a trailer released by ArenaNet, the Twilight Assault update has been confirmed for an October 1st release, and will introduce players to the Twilight Arbor area with its villainous retinue of baddies.
The swiftness of this next update may be somewhat surprising for some gamers, especially considering that the MMORPG's last bit of content, Tequatl Rising, only hit last week on September 17th. That being the case, if you've yet to put down the "scourge of the Splintered Coast," you may want to get that shored up. If ArenaNet keeps up this kind of release rate, we'll probably be seeing something else new in the near future.
That isn't something we'd complain about, obviously. With other MMOs often struggling to provide players with sufficient material to keep them busy, it's nice to see a developer working hard to keep its game up-to-date and desirable. Here's hoping other developers get the same "work hard" memo that apparently ArenaNet did and follow suit.
