The latest patch to the Hearthstone closed beta adds new features, improves old ones and wipes all current player progress.
Blizzard is releasing the promised closed beta patch today for its online collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. The patch introduces a bevy of changes aimed at improving the game with new enhancements, features and bug fixes. The thing most beta participants will notice is the previously announced account wipe.
Key among the patch changes is a boost in the game's level cap, more gold for fewer wins, better Arena awards and additional flavor text for cards. The patch will also be adding a new crafting mode, making minor changes to several of the game's cards and repairing a slew of bugs that have been gumming up the works.
