Asherons Call: New Version of Decal Does Not Support C

No amount of editorializing could do this press release from Gouru justice:

Release candidate 2 is now available at the Decal Home Page.

This version of Decal does not directly support the casting of Harm, Drain Life, or War spells.

The AC Developers are fully aware that individual plugin authors will be able to write their own code that does not have these restrictions, and that due to the nature of open source, hacked versions of Decal may be made available without those restrictions.

However, we feel this more clearly puts out the message that Decal developers do NOT support combat macroing.

At this point, there are a couple of non-macro plugins that may be affected. Primarily spellbar replacements with Combat spells on them. Expect new versions of these plugins in the near future. In the meantime, if you use these plugins, do not install Release Candidate 2.
