Speed MOBA Solstice Arena is now available on Steam, joining clients on iOS and MacOS.

The world's only mobile MOBA, Solstice Arena, is now available on Steam. Initially available on iOS only, the game's developers had planned from the game's inception to release it on both PC and Mac. Furthermore, the game has been designed from the ground up to support cross platform play, something almost unheard of outside the realm of Facebook games.

In a private Twitch session last week, I played a few games of Solstice Arena with Principal Game Designer Cameron McNeil and General Manager Frederic Descamps from Zynga . Though I was on an iPhone, one of my teammates was playing on a PC alongside another on an iPad. When I wasn't busy dying, I could glance up and see exactly what my PC compatriot was seeing - a screen almost undistinguishable from my own.

PC players have the same interface, however their spells are mapped to the same keys as traditional MOBAs - Q,W,E,R. Other than that, there are no major differences in the Steam client of the game. So if you were waiting to get your hands on Solstice but don't have any Apple products, now you can hop in and play on your PC with friends on the train or in line at the grocery store.

Solstice Arena can be downloaded from Steam here.
