The Blood of Bew Boils

I need not explain the chaos involved when realms collide into a melting pot of one.

"There is a world where any and all inhabitants maim and mutilate each other just to acquire wealth, fame and glory. The continual search for these ends do not, however, bring wealth, fame or glory; they bring war, famine, pestilence and in the end -- death. These are the observations and songs of a mere Minstrel living on Mordred.

"In a series of events unbeknownst to most, Bew the Ranger has taken a rather peculiar direction to point his rage.

"I have campaigned for days under the direction of Bew, along side many of my sworn enemies to fulfill this new lust for conquest that has overcome us all. At last, before I sleep, I will relay the story of where I believe this fervor began...

"A prophet once told me, "A war torn land holds no purse." I did not at first realize these words, but now they are clearer. Mordred's wealth has been hoarded by the aged powers for too long. I believe, in the eyes of Bew, the only way to remedy this was to bring down the most powerful dungeon masters and loot their decaying corpses. With this loot even the simple man and woman could achieve a stature within the lands worthy of those who fight on the side of Good.

"He gathered the destined general public in Camelot, and sent them all to a location unknown to our mortal enemies. The location was outside of Caer Daigol in Aldland. At this point I feared Bew's madness had passed to uncountable masses, I had realized it was his intention to wake the Apocalypse. The people were elated. The journey to the rally point was not an easy one for new mass I refer to as the Destined.

"Dark Covenant has made a name on Mordred for controlling these powerful dungeon leaders. It is, in fact, a main source of their wealth. They heard through loose lips of the massive campaign Bew had set against the Evils of Mordred. They also found out this days plans and attempted to stop the Destined each chance they could.

"The hearts of the Destined triumphed in each encounter with Dark Covenant. Casualties were felt on both sides each meeting, but we were able to stand our ground. This added frenzy and faith to the hearts of the masses.

"Time passed...

"Finally, all the battle groups of the Destined converged on Caer Sidi. We laid waste to the minions guarding the structure. No souls were lost, and many were set free. It is my opinion that these undead wished to be released from their bonds, but fight that same desire for reasons beyond their control. The dungeon boss holds this power over them.

"Bew lead us without fail into the depths of Caer Sidi. At times, I felt as mindless as the undead we were releasing almost as if I too was being controlled by a force greater than myself. We prevailed in every battle. We, the Destined, claimed the purses from each minion we set free. We endured until Funus, Bellum, Morbus, and Fames were memories. We woke The Apocalypse.

"This is where Bew's obsession was realized. I saw his eyes glow as he directed us in our struggle. I observed the masses, the people, the
Destined. Mindless minions we have become. Slashing, casting, bashing and shooting whatever evil we are sent towards... filling our pockets with the items found in the corpses. Gaining status with each blow, with each victory we grew stronger. The Apocalypse was also set free by us. What is our goal? Only one person knows this answer.

"We do as individuals. We lend our bodies and hearts to Bew the Ranger in the short term, so that tomorrow we can eat from silver bowls.

"Some may see Bew the Ranger as a false prophet. I see him as True Hope where there was none.

"I grow tired and the recollecting has not helped my want for sleep. It has brought to the forward of my thought a means to an end. Where the means is battle and the end is the future."
