The battle was fierce in the taking of Caer Caledon, there were around thirty-five Midgard
Defenders in Caer Caledon vs. thirty-seven Albions."It was hopeless; we were flanked by the Midgards as we try to push ourselves onto the shore of Caer Caledon. Drakyr, the Paladin leader, motivated his men and women alike to not lose their faith in this battle. He broke the party into two groups and one group was appointed leadership to Candera, the Ice Wizard and they were to take over the Midgard Bridge and wait for Drakyr's command.
"The other group was under the leadership of Drakyr himself; his group was to occupy the Midgards while Candera's squad was to flank them. Scouts reported that half the army of Midgard was hiding in the keep waiting for the Albions to arrive. Drakyr took this chance to rush his men forward to occupy them; he dispatched Scouts to tell Candera it was time for her group to move.
"Drakyr's group rushed past the bridge and faced the opposing Enemy, his group was told to stay together but instead they were all scattered across the battlefield. Candera's group moved into the middle and she set all her Ice Wizard's to cast their all powerful Ice Ring. Drakyr's squad was saved but many were injured and the bodies of Albions and Midgards alike were strewn around the battle field. The Cleric Amemizu assembled her Clerics and Friars to resurrect everyone.
"Drakyr had assembled the two groups into one again and they were ordered to stay at the shore and fend off any enemies while awaiting the arrival of the siege ram. The survivors held off the incoming Midgards and protected the injured ones while they were resting.
"Finally the siege ram came and they continued their raid, the siege operator was Drakyr. He took down the first door, then a flash struck him, his plate armor seem to be broken at his back and a sword was thrust through his back... all was lost.
"Drakyr sat down injured and a courageous Amemizu the Cleric stood up and took the position. She gave some commands regarding the second door and they were carried out until the door fell. They rested again and Amemizu was ready to call the army to rush through the Lord's room; she left a Scout, a Cleric and an Armsman to defend Drakyr while he was recovering.
"The Army went in the keep, the Necromancers stayed on the keep grounds and took the life of enemy guards and archers, the others kept going and into the Lord's room the Armsmen and Paladins fought the Lord ignoring the Midgard Defenders. The Ice Wizards went to the middle and with six shots of their Ice Rings the Midgard Defenders fell
"Drakyr stood up angrily and casted his Endurance Chant and motivated the survivors to keep it up, the Necromancers proceeded to kill the guards while the Scout and Armsman followed Drakyr. The Cleric stayed with the necromancers. Drakyr brought them to the Lord's room and unluckily the Armsman was struck by an enemy arrow and the head of enemy archer was hit by a miraculous critical hit from the Scout. They left the Armsman and as they entered the Lord's room, the Lord was tired and no defenders were left.
"Drakyr went mad, fighting the Lord himself. He felt another feeling of blankness as he was injured again and fell, but as he fell, the Scout again shot the Lord's chest and the Lord fell and Caer Caledon was theirs again..."
