AC Explorer will follow the free upgrade policy that Zuggsoft has but when AC2 Explorer is added to the program the cost will increase to $25.00 so if you upgrade now to the full version you'll save $5.00!
======Zugg's Letter========
There have been several AC2 announcements from Turbine and Microsoft recently. I've decided to go ahead and release some information regarding plans for "AC Explorer 2".
"AC Explorer 2" (name subject to change) will be a major upgrade to AC Explorer Pro. This new product will work with *both* AC1 and AC2. The public version of AC Explorer 2 is expected sometime in conjuntion with the public release of AC2. Beta versions of AC Explorer 2 will be available during the AC2 beta period.
Since "AC Explorer 2" will support both AC1 and AC2 and will also contain several other features that are not being announced yet, the price will increase from $20 to $25. However, "AC Explorer 2" will be a FREE (yes, you heard that right: FREE) upgrade for existing AC Explorer Pro customers.
I want AC Explorer users to get the same quality and value for your money that zMUD customers have received over the past 6 years Zugg Software has been in business. I don't want the cost of AC Explorer to be a hindrance to people contemplating moving to AC2. By making the upgrade to AC Explorer 2 free for existing customers, you can freely move between AC1 and AC2 and still have the same high quality mapping tool that you've come to expect from Zugg Software.
"AC Explorer 2" will only be an upgrade for the AC Explorer Pro product. The old, free version of AC Explorer 2.2 will not be upgraded to handle AC2, and there will not be any free version of AC Explorer 2. But AC Explorer 2 will still have the same 30-day free trial and money back guarantee that existing AC Explorer Pro users have enjoyed.
Zugg Software is very excited about the announced plans for Asheron's Call 2 and is honored to participate in this endeavor by continuing to offer quality 3rd party tools for AC2.
