Could this be? A Final Fantasy game without 36 hours of non-interactive video? The hell you say! Nevertheless, defying probability, logic and quite possibly a few laws of nature man has yet to unlock, the latest volume of the Final Fantasy franchise is, in fact, an MMORPG. In truth, I am baffled by how this game can be part of the numbered series of over inflated CG-fests when it barely occupies the same genre. Considering that this "series" has never had two games with the same cast of characters, or even take place on the same world for that matter, I really shouldn't be surprised. It would seem that now the only requirements to be called a Final Fantasy game are color coded mages and chocabos. Who knew?
