Players interested in gaining access to the alpha version of EverQuest Next can purchase the Trailblazer and Explorer Founder's Packs.
EverQuest Next Landmark looks as though its poised to combine the MMORPG sensibilities of its namesake with building mechanics that should satisfy the fantasy architect inside all of us. In other words, If your goal in life has been to spend your hours building structures best suited for the next Lord of the Rings sequel, this may just be your game.
EverQuest Next is a complete reimagining of the EverQuest Franchise. Old friends and enemies will appear - but they may not be who you remember. With 10,000 years of explorable history buried beneath its surface and a future you will shape, this is your Norrath.
That being the case, Sony Online Entertainment has recently revealed that it will be launching a playable alpha version of Landmark beginning next year on February 28th. That in mind, SOE wants to give interested an opportunity to get it on this early version of the game with the release of announced Founder's Packs that it's now selling.
The Founder's Packs currently come in three varieties: the Trailblazer Pack, Explorer Pack and Settler Pack. The Trailblazer pack will be the most expensive of the three, costing $99.99. That said, it will also net buyers alpha access, four shareable beta keys, a spot in Landmark's credits and several rare in-game items. The more modest Explorer Pack, comparatively, is priced at $59.99 and will reward purchasers with alpha access and several other in-game items.
The cheapest of the bunch, the Settler Package, will only cost $19.99 but will also give its buyer unlimited closed beta access instead of alpha privileges.
