Jumpgate Evolution: Eleventh Hour Negotiations Fail; War Looms

TRI-HQ (TRI-FP) - Last minute negotiations between Sagrith Hubri, Prefect Galenus, and Colonel Emiko have collapsed at this hour, leaving all out faction war between Octavius and Solrain the only likely outcome.

Both sides were quick to blame the other for the failure to find a diplomatic solution. Prefect Galenus commented: "The STCC obviously has no intent of seeking a peaceful solution to this issue. They are content to lie, cheat and steal to achieve their goals, which the Empire cannot tolerate any longer. Solrain has missed a valuable chance to meet our demands, and has forced us to initiate an economic action against them, by claiming their beacons. In addition, Octavians pilots are ordered to engage any and all honor guard pilot loyal to the STCC."
