Star Wars Galaxies: Friday Feature

You know it, you love it, you need it! Here's the irresistable FRIIIIDAY FEATURE!

This week's Friday Feature is a new page on How to Host Player Events.

One of the things that makes Massively Multiplayer Games a uniquely fun experience is that players often host events in-game for their fellow players. The type of events are only limited by the creativity of the players, well, and the code of the game. With Star Wars Galaxies, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to host events for others.

Our dev's primary task is delivering more game content and enhancing the game, but as Community Manager my job is to help you to have fun with each other in and out of the game. We'll be adding new guides to this page in the future. Today we moved The Big Game Hunt and the Wedding Guide to this section from the Advanced Guide section to make them easier to find (on Monday we'll add a link on the main page's left hand menu). We also added three new guides to give you ideas for running events as well as a top 10 list of things to remember when preparing any event.

Feel free to comment on the guides as we want to make them as useful as possible to the community. Next week I'll update the race guide with waypoints of the Mos Espa Circuit track (Aartan Ridge did an excellent job with that on Test Center for the first vehicle race; I'm just going to clean it up a little).
