Zenimax Online has released an interactive map of Tamriel filled with lore and world details to help prime players for The Elder Scrolls Online.
Hoping to give gamers an easy avenue to gain a bit more background info on the world of Tamriel, Zenimax Online has added a new interactive map to The Elder Scrolls Online website. The map is broken up into color-coded regions that players can highlight and click on for more information and exclusive content including new screenshots, concept art, journals, book excerpts and conversations.
Looking at the map right now, the available regions are arguably a bit limited. That said, Zenimax has affirmed that it will "be expanding the map in the future" with new content that should help provide further insight into the "diverse landscape" of Tamriel. The developer will also be soliciting requests for specific additions to the map via Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, so feel free to hop onto one of those and give Zenimax a holler.
All in all, even if the map is limited at the moment, it's still an arguably nifty feature and a neat way to help prime gamers on the complex continent of Tamriel as well as the reams of the lore the Elder Scrolls franchise has accumulated up to this point. To try out the new interactive map yourself, head over to the official Elder Scrolls Online website.
