Major League Gaming is kicking off a new tournament in Columbus, Ohio, today with the popular DOTA 2 and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The next Major League Gaming Tournament begins today, with DOTA 2 at the forefront of the competition with more than $100,000 in prizes available. Oh, and Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be there on Xbox 360, with a $50,000 prize pool.

There will be 14 rounds of DOTA 2 today and Saturday, with the best-of three semifinals and finals being held on Sunday. Eight teams will be vying for top honors, and MLG will be hosting two live streams showing all the single-game matches.

The initial prize of $100,000 is being supplemented by players and fans who purchase special DOTA 2 prize bundles through MLG. Of the $10 paid for each pack, $2.50 is added to the prize pool. The current pool is now more than $126,000. If you are interested in a bundle, you can get Scalehound Courier, Stronghold HUD skin, and a Tethered Sentinel Ward. Players will also get Battle Point bonuses through the end of the tournament.

MLG has put a spotlight on DOTA 2 lately, having a fall North American League, culminating in an invitational tournament just last month.

The Call of Duty: Ghosts matches will also be live-streamed through the championships on Sunday. The winning team gets $20,000.
