Dragon's Prophet is finding a way to stay relevant during the console launches in a rather humorous way.
With the launch of Xbox One and PlayStation 4, MMO gamers are looking for that killer game that will make them put aside their mouse and keyboard so they can sit on the couch with friends and play with them. However, the creative folks at German publisher Infernum have come up with a great way for their game Dragon's Prophet to make the jump to Xbox One without the extra development time.
A tongue-in-cheek video gives players the 411 on just how to play the game on Microsoft's newest console. All you need is your PC and an HDMI cable. I think you can see where this is going ...
Step 1: Move the PC to where your Xbox One is (or have a long connection cable)
Step 2: Connect your PC into the HDMI port of the Xbox One.
Step 3: Watch TV (or if you are into voice commands, tell the Xbox One to turn it on for you)
Step 4: Grab your controller and start playing (or find a way to set your mouse and keyboard in your lap.)
OK, it's not exactly what console fans have in mind when they say they want a great MMO on console, but you have to admit it is a nice attempt at trying to keep the game in the public eye during the console launch. A special thumbs (claws?) up to the rubber dragon hands and gruff dragon voice.
Here's your chuckle for the day:
