Yasuo, the Unforgiven will be a new "sustained damage fighter" for League of Legends players to master.
While some might argue in the opposite direction, we are of the firm opinion that you can never have too much of a good thing. Riot Games, the developer behind League of Legends, would seem to agree with us. Case in point, despite the popular MOBA already boasting a fairly whopping cast of playable champions, Riot just keeps churning out more of them. It's almost like the studio likes making money or something.
League of Legends files the sharp corners off of the notorious MOBA genre into something that's both approachable, yet challenging. Persistant character development lets you develop your strategies over time and build up your summoner profile, while runes can grant you the edge. The community is both highly competitive, yet well-policed. Think you have what it takes to compete in the League of Legends?
Anyhow, Riot has recently unveiled yet another new champion for its game: Yasuo, the Unforgiven. "A former member of an Ionian martial school and the only student to have mastered a legendary wind technique," Yasuo is being described by Riot as a "sustained damage fighter with high mobility, strong utility and damage output that ramps up the longer he survives in combat." The developer does admit that the character is somewhat hindered by some "early game fragility," but believes that "his strength and mobility" could nonetheless make him ideal for players with the skill to keep him alive and power him up to his later, more impressive stages.
Yasuo will come equipped with a variety of skills including passive ones like Way of the Wanderer and other more active ones like Steel Tempest, Wind Wall, Sweeping Blade and Last Breath. All in all, he sounds like a good addition to League of Legends ever growing repertoire of champions and we look forward to taking him into battle when he becomes available.
