Celebrate Thanksgiving Blizzard-style with World of Warcraft's Pilgrim's Bounty event.
With Thanksgiving mere days away, Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft will be hosting a Pilgrim's Bounty celebration mirroring the holiday. According to the announcement players visiting major towns will find "Bountiful Tables" that they can sit at to enjoy some company as well as a few bites of virtual turkey.
"We invite you to celebrate Pilgrim's Bounty with us," the company said. "It's a time for reflecting on your journeys and good fortune and sharing plentiful food and stories with friends." Players interested in partaking in the MMO feasting will find Bountiful Tables near "all capital cities and most Horde and Alliance towns." The tables, in turn, will be available from November 25th until December 2nd.
Partaking in the Pilgrim's Bounty events will yield a platter's worth of content including daily cooking quests, event specific buffs and special merchants selling seasonal foods and Bountiful Baskets that you can use to host your own feasts and earn group stat boosts. Players will also stand to gain special rewards for their participation including festive clothing, cooking recipes, food and, perhaps best of all, a Plump Turkey pet that you can earn by completing the event's meta-achievement. For more information visit the Pilgrim's Bounty announcement at the official World of Warcraft website.
