The Old Republic Anniversary

Users registered with Star Wars: The Old Republic before December 17th will receive some free goodies.

It's been two years since Star Wars: The Old Republic first launched, and while there have been some undeniable speed bumps along the way, the game is still arguably in a better place than it was back when it first began. To celebrate its continued growth and expansion, Bioware has revealed that all players will be privy to some free anniversary rewards beginning December 17th.

Included among these rewards will be special paint jobs for the YR-02 Imperial Republic Scout fighters as well as 25 stacks of faction-based fireworks. To claim these rewards you have to have an account before December 16th 11:59 PST. On the 17th, you'll be able to claim them by visiting your in-game mailbox where they'll be waiting as rewards items you can add to your inventory.

Sadly, because the Galactic Starfighter expansion is currently only open to paid subscribers, preferred players and free-to-play users won't be able to do much with their paint jobs until January 14th and February 4th. That being the case, free stuff is always welcome and even if you can't use the paint job, you'd have to be kind of spoiled to complain about free fireworks.
