Blizzard will be releasing standard, deluxe and collector's editions for Diablo III's Reaper of Souls DLC on March 25th, 2014.
Hot on the heels of a recently launched closed beta, Blizzard has finally announced a release date for the much anticipated Diablo III expansion Reaper of Souls. Previously slated for a broader 2014 release, the company has revealed that Reaper of Souls will be launching digitally and at retail on March 25th, 2014.
Players interested in pre-purchasing the DLC can now invest in either standard or deluxe digital editions. The standard edition, will cost $39.99 and include just the base contents of the expansion. The deluxe edition meanwhile, will cost $59.99 and come with a collection of extras including exclusive transmogrification recipes, a Spectral Hound minion and three extra character slots. It will also come packaged with a Treasure Goblin pet for World of Warcraft, a collection of Crusader-themed portraits for Battle.net and Maltheel-themed decals for Starcraft II.
A Collector's edition of Reaper of Souls is also being planned for release retail. It will contain all the same content as the deluxe digital edition and will also come with physical collectibles including a Maltheel mouse pad, a collector's edition art book and a behind-the-scenes Blu-Ray/DVD set covering the development of Diablo III.
