Star Wars Galaxies: Q-3P0 thanks New Unity of the Test Center

Q-3P0 stopped by the Test Center forums and left the following post thanking New Unity city on the Test Center, as well as dropping a huge cliff-hanger for us fans.

On Friday, we had a yearly company product review day where all of the teams showed off their games to everyone else in the company. Our parent company Sony Digital Pictures also came down to show us some cool new movies in the works. The Austin and St. Louis teams flew out for the meeting (and also for the yearly holiday party on Saturday. Needless to say I'm almost recovered ). To toot SOE's horn, EQ2 looks awesome so far. I'm also very impressed with where they are taking the original EverQuest as well as all the recent changes they did to balance out PlanetSide. Both are definitely worth another look if you like those types of games.

Anyway, with Galaxies we showed off mounts, player cities, vehicles and Jedi (and also talked about what is coming up in the next monthly publish - more on that next week). Our demo went very well and I wanted to give special thanks to Unity on Test Center. We set the demo around their player city. All Thursday and for the demo on Friday, we completely confused them by showing off a large Rebel verus Imperial battle (similar to some of our recent Events). They were good sports about us leaving dozens of Stormtroopers to wander around their houses after the demo was over. Thanks guys and gals!

Great job New Unity! I wonder what they could be announcing next week. Most likly Act III of the Monthly story, but there could be more. What do you think? Stop by the forums and speak your mind!
