Earlier tonight, just as things were looking bright for Solrain and Quantar forces working separately in Octavian space, Octavius units managed to organize an ambush for Solrain units flipping beacons in force within Octavius space.

The ambush, set at Great Pillars station, went off without a hitch as Dart_Vader of ISU lured multiple Solrain Guard squadron units into peril. Two Solrain pilots were downed outside Great Pillars, and another was intercepted on the way back to Octavius Core in retreat by pilots Purge and Smaggler.

After a prolonged show of Solrain and Quantar might, Octavius is beginning to show increased coordination, tactical planning, and drive. Tactical analysts at SNN report that if Octavius keeps working with such a degree of coordination, they may yet pose a serious threat to the Commonwealth of Solrain.
