Jumpgate Evolution: Wake Defenses Upgrade Complete

Wake Station (TRI-FP) - Last night, the TRI mission to upgrade defenses at Wake station was completed by a cooperative effort lead by New Dawn, Eternal Legacy, and Solrain Guard.

Pilot mordikar had this to say shortly afterwards:

"Another thanks goes out to everyone who helped out with this mission. It was a lot of work and it's nice to see so many people pitch in for a common cause. I just wish I could see the look on those sents faces when their missiles don't work ..."

The dedicated team of pilots remained undaunted in their challenge, despite suffer two fierce sentient attacks late last week.

Dr Calatorius (TRIR-CSD) issued the following statement:

"If the theories and calculations provided by MSD are accurate, Wake station should now fully protected against attacks from the conflux Parasite missiles carried by C17-S: 'Lamprey'. We must remain vigilant, as we are sure it wont be long before these new defenses are tested."

A proposal to outfit all TRI stations with the improved defense has been submitted to the TRI Executive Council for review.
