The same company that brought you the Unreal Universe figures, Radioactive Clown (how's that for a company name?), announced yesterday that they will be releasing action figures based on the world of Horizons. Here is a snip from the press release:
The first wave of Horizons: Empire of Istaria figures will be a selection of five characters from both the game's playable and non-playable characters. The initial offering will include an Ice Golem, a Withered Aegis, a male Fiend, a Human female and, of course, a young Dragon. Subsequent series are already in the works and will include all currently playable races.
"We're so excited to be making Horizons figures, we're practically glowing," said Radioactive Clown, the company founder and spokesperson. "As soon as I saw that Horizons allows you to play as a dragon, I was hooked. The game is rich in characters and already has a rabid fan base. It's no surprise it won a few 'best-of' awards at E3. Play the game and you'll know why."
The first series is slated to hit stores in Spring 2004, with subsequent series following in the later months. To read the press release in its entirety follow this link.
Just think, when you're not able to play the game, you can have little battles of your own with the figures... er, I mean your kids can! *runs off in the distance*
