Star Wars Galaxies: Important Notice about Holiday Gifts

Howdy.

It seems there has been a flurry of activities surrounding creating characters this weekend in order to maximize the number of presents the players may get for Christmas. I regret to inform those players, but the Holiday Presents are only going to be given to characters that have been created three weeks before now. These presents are veteran rewards, and we want to minimize any exploiting that would occur as a result of them.

The integrity of the game is very important to us. That said, we want to take a few minutes and reinforce our game policies.

We will be taking action against players who fraudulently sell or trade items in order to scam another player into buying what they think is a Holocron (we already do this with other items).

We also would like to reinforce the fact that we are terminating any accounts that are found to be selling items or accounts on any out-of-game (or in-game for that matter) auction sites. The User Agreement specifically prohibits the sale, trade, or transfer of any game items for real money. We also prohibit the transfer of accounts entirely.

If you are unsure what you are able to do with your account/player/items, please read the User Agreement in the front end of the game log-in.

Sorry about the serious note here, there are only a few people who try to spoil other's fun, but we felt we needed to remind them.
