Asherons Call: Those Annoying Pop-Ups

Thanks to all of you who have been so "vocal" about the recent round of pop-ups. For lack of a better term, they suck. And we hate them just as much as you.

Warcry has always been loathe to drop them because they provide 65% of the $1800/month it takes to keep this network going (yes, there are other sites on this network!). But, some problems contractually and the latest series they've inlcuded has made us realize we just need to get out.

HOWEVER, we can't just drop them. 65% of our income is a lot to go without, even for a month or two. And, it could potentially harm the site in ways we could never recover from. So...

I ask all of you in the community - do you work for a company that would like to advertise with Warcry? Realize, these are corporate ads we're asking for - these require a minimum of a 3-month commitment. Pricing can be found here.

You can ask for information from either Landslide, our network manager, or myself. One of us will get back to you within 24 hours.

For those of you who simply want to contribute, we have our WCoD Sponsorship program (the banners), which seems to come and go for revenues.

Also, I know you've noticed the Amazon banners (some of you have even ordered!). We'll be adding a few more of those ads here and there. Please, if you're going to buy anyways, use them. We receive NO monies from these ads unless you purchase something. So, when you get around to ordering AC2, order it through our ad.

This is a fabulous community that always comes through when necessary. We're not begging for money like last year (thankfully), we're solvent...but losing the pop-ups without a replacement will change that quickly. So, please be patient.
