I'm trying to figure out how the skill check for tinkering is calculated. I've pulled together a few results, but I'm still a long way from having enough data to figure it out, as there's four factors involved, and it's very time consuming pulling together materials to tinker with.

I've posted my results so far on a simple me know. The more data I get, the sooner I'll be able to figure it out and get the results posted.

This could be quite helpful for us fledgling tinkerers. Off to salvage more steel!
