It is now largely forgotten, but at one time the Tumeroks and Isparians fought for control of Dereth: Holtburg was invaded, Dryreach besieged. Recently Skai of Morningthaw was exploring around Dryreach and came upon a diary telling of one man's war of vengeance against the Tumeroks.
