Epsilon the Enchanter has spent some time thinking about this. Well, more than some time, a lot of time. He's not convinced the new CoC in AC2 will help with what's wrong with AC1. In, "Thoughts on Macroing, Xp Chains...", he accounts in detail what someone bent on macroing could do to get around the system and postulates that because this can be done, the CoC won't help.
