His statements in the Dev Chat were a bit misleading. And after numerous emails, mis-reported articles on other sites and my own confusion, I asked him.

Nope, he's not going. He's staying with us. He's just picked up the added responsibility of AC2.

So, rejoice or fume as the case may be. He's here to stay!
