Mr. Fargo has over 20 years of experience in the software publishing industry, including the founding of Interplay Entertainment Corp. in 1983. While at Interplay, Mr. Fargo brought Universal/MCA in as a 45% equity partner and in 1998 later took Interplay public. In addition to Interplay, Mr. Fargo formed an on-line entertainment company with partner Softbank in 1996 and sat on the board of Virgin Europe after it was acquired by Interplay in 1998. While at Interplay, Mr. Fargo negotiated numerous content licensing agreements with companies such as Paramount, Universal, Nintendo, MLBA, NHL and Caesar's Palace, with the largest licensing agreement being negotiated with Warner Brothers for the highly coveted and valuable Matrix franchise. Under Mr. Fargo's leadership Interplay continued on with a successful launch into the next generation console machines with titles like "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" PS2 and "Hunter" Xbox. Throughout its years Interplay continued to hold its position as the top creators of PC role-playing games. Mr. Fargo is known throughout the Software Entertainment Industry as one of the "Founding Fathers". Mr. Fargo has served on the board of the IDSA and has given key speeches at the industries leading shows such as E3, Global Gaming Forum and the Computer Game Developers Conference.
