It's that time again - the ebb an flow of life and other games has taken staff from us! We're currently looking players to fill the following positions:
[li] Assistant Site Manager - The ASM is responsible for running ALL aspects of the site. This person must have wide availability - someone who can be available at work is preferrable. Good writing skills are required as is proficiency in HTML. A knowledge of PHP and SQL are helpful but not required. Personnel management experience is a major plus.
[li] Codemonkey - This person will be responsible for helping to maintain the backend of WCoD and will answer directly to Optim Shi. This person will have a strong understanding of PHP and HTML. Additional proficiency with SQL, databases and an artistic eye is a plus, but not a requirement.
[li] Patch Tree Editor - The Patch Tree Editor must be available on each patch day. They are responsible for adding all new entries to the patch tree. A basic understanding of HTML is required as well as the ability to edit images.
[li] Assistant Lore Editor - This editorial position will require excellent writing skill and extensive knowledge of backstory. This person will answer to Chain and will help him better organize the Lore section and create and extensive encylopedia of AC. Please attach a sample of your writing with your application.
[li] Assistant Guild Hall Editor - Our Asst Guild Hall Editor will answer directly to Fernmyst and will help her to coordinate, interview and edit Guild interviews. This person must have a basic knowledge of HTML, a good artistic eye and a basic ability to edit images.
[li] "Interpreters" - This is a completely new position for WCoD. We'd like to make our site more accessible to a broader range of players. To that end, we'd like interpreters to begin translating both new and old lore in to other languages. French, German and Japanese are the MINIMUM languages we'd like to start with.
[li] Role Play Troupe Members - A Troupe member will work with Talyne, the Director, to coordinate and organize regular "events" in our Tavern. This position will require some level of dedication and a GOOD sense of humor.
