First off I want to say that I'm very sorry to hear what happened. The Blood monarchy has been a mainstay of Darktide for a long time, and whether you like or dislike them, you have to respect them for their impact on the server politics and gameplay.
That said, as a policy we do not restore characters or intervene in any way in these situations, for two main reasons:
- Keeping your password secure is your own responsibility. We've investigated several hack reports and have never found a case in which the password had not been shared with another person at some point, or in which the player's computer had not been compromised through a trojan horse or other malicious application.
- We do not support the transfer of accounts. Unless I am completely mistaken, the Blood account has been traded or sold at least once.
One of the things that Turbine is striving for in our management of AC is consistency. We need to be consistent in our enforcement of the Code of Conduct and Terms of Service. That means no exceptions. Whether or not exceptions were made in the past -- and no one on the team is aware of this having been done -- this is our policy going forward.
